  We had a Terrible experience here a couple weeks ago. We were so surprised and thought it would be wonderful. my aunt is a vegetarian and ordered the pasta without sausage and mid meal she realized that it had sausage and my father who ordered the same thing but with meat realized that they had switched plates. For an upscale restaurant this is a huge no no. When we informed our server he blamed the kitchen and didn't give us any compensation, not even coffee. As a server myself I would have definitely compensated something if not all of my aunts meal.

  We have been going to Aberfoyle Mill for the last 6 years. All the dishes are amazing! We were never disappointed. The owner takes pride of all of their dishes and always use good quality ingredients. The service is equally as good. We feel very fortunate to have such a great restaurant in our local area. Love the charm of the mill as well.

  We had dinner here last night for my 55th birthday. Party of 7 and we showed up with 8 people. We were accommodated happily with no problem as they rearranged our table for us. The food was to die for. I had beef tenderloin which was melt in your mouth delicious. The Caesar salad is fantastic. My partner loved his prime rib and my niece loved her lamb. My Mom was not fussy on the duck and said next time she would get something else. Everyone else was very happy. The service is impeccable this restaurant remains my favourite. It is a great relaxing atmosphere with a nice fire as well with the rustic antiques and historic building which used to be a working Mill.
