  Great, cozy and classy downtown restaurant. Superb wine list and nuanced and thoughtful menu. Not a fill-up-fer-cheep place. Perfect for a refined business lunch or an intimate dinner.

  The food was amazing, the service was exceptional and the staff were very pleasant and nice. The atmosphere, good lighting, and open concept layout all made for a great brunch experience at 39 Carden. The only issue is that the bathroom was small, painted black, and had a fly in the sink. I will definitely return in the future.

  Rotating chalkboard menu reminded me of places in Toronto. Visited this lovely restaurant twice recently and both times were great! I love the concept of a rotating menu written on the chalkboard. First time I went there was for brunch with my mom - both the quiche and the eggs benedict were delicious! Second time was for dinner - my friend got the burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I've had in Guelph! My Hanger steak was perfectly cooked and had a unique shrimp salad on the side. I also had the House Sangria (soo yummy!). I'll definitely be visiting again.
